Get StartedHCL Technologies is a top global IT services company offering various services such as software development, infrastructure management, and business process outsourcing. One of its main products, HCL Unica, helps large enterprises manage multi-channel campaigns, engage with customers, and perform analytics more efficiently.
There were several challenges in the development and deployment of the tool. Firstly, the tool needed to analyze diverse datasets from various industries to ensure accurate and useful recommendations across different sectors. Providing real-time analysis and feedback without compromising performance was another critical challenge. Additionally, integrating the Subject Line Optimizer tool into the existing HCL Unica platform without disrupting its functions posed technical difficulties. Finally, it was essential to design an intuitive interface that marketers could easily use with minimal training.
Psych started the project with a clear plan, focusing on creativity, user-friendly design, and strong technology.
We began with a conversational AI that collects user inputs like name, industry, and campaign type to deliver industry-standard optimization and analytics.
Later created algorithms to understand and predict how well subject lines would perform based on past data and the Flesch-Kincaid grade level meter. We also built an easy-to-use dashboard where marketers could input their subject lines, get immediate scores, and see suggestions for improvement. This dashboard aimed to help marketers come up with effective and result-oriented subject lines.
Another valuable addition is the 'Word Cloud feature, offering marketers a curated list of relevant words used in past campaigns, aiding them in optimizing their current campaign strategies. We made sure the SLO tool worked perfectly with HCL Unica’s system, ensuring a smooth experience for users.
